Unifi has unveiled the Unifi Finance Program®, a leadership development experience that gives students the opportunity to join and run a financial education group on their campus, the company announced today.

“We are delighted to expand this program to universities all around North America,” said Michael Gosiker, co-founder and chairman of Unifi. “The Unifi Finance Program allows student leaders to manage a team on their campus and add valuable experience to their portfolios, while simultaneously giving back to their classmates and community.”

Unifi is recruiting student leaders to serve on the executive board or in the general body of a Unifi affiliate.

“Now more than ever, students need this kind of stand-out experience on their resume as they prepare to enter one of the most competitive job markets in modern times,” said Selyne Singh, co-founder and director at Unifi. “More importantly, the world needs young people who take charge of their financial future and understand how it all comes together. The importance of financial education cannot be overstated, and the Unifi Finance Program exists to spread this knowledge far and wide.”

Recruitment will commence throughout the semester on a rolling basis — interested students should visit apply.unifi.org to learn more.

“Serving as President of a Unifi Finance team has truly been the hallmark of my college experience,” said Dhruvi Contractor, a junior at the University of Florida who is completing a combined BS/MS program in finance. “The responsibility I have been given and the management experience I have earned is simply unmatched by my other involvement on campus. More importantly, my team and I have been able to contribute to educating so many students on these important topics.”
